The upcoming Match No. 43 of the IPL 2025 will witness the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) locking horns with the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Friday, April 25. Notably, the season has been underwhelming for both teams, as they are languishing in the bottom two spots in the points tally. The MS Dhoni-led side, which has played eight matches so far, has managed to register just two wins and has a negative NRR of 1.392. The side is coming off a shocking nine-wicket defeat at the hands of arch-rivals, Mumbai Indians. CSK's chances of qualifying for the playoffs are close to nil. On the other hand, SRH also has had the same story to tell, with two wins in eight games. Best economical pick – Noor Ahmad, who has been brilliant for CSK this season, will be a player to watch out for in the upcoming game. With 12 wickets in eight innings, he is currently third on the list of highest-wicket takers and will have the responsibility to provide crucial breakthroughs for his side. 

Top captains & vice captains – Rachin Ravindra will open the batting and will be a key player from the Chennai Super Kings. He will be a good captaincy pick. With 281 runs in eight matches, SRH wicket-keeper batter Heinrich Klaasen could be the best batter of Match 43 of IPL 2025. The South African has found his form back with the bat and would be looking to continue it and give his side a solid finish. 

Smart pick – Aniket Verma has been in good form for SRH so far this season and he will be a handy budget pick against this opposition..

Cautious Pick – Ishan Kishan began IPL 2025 in sensational fashion, scoring a blistering 106* in his opening match for Sunrisers Hyderabad against Rajasthan Royals. However, his form has sharply declined since then, managing only 33 runs in his next seven innings at a poor average of 5.5 and a strike rate of 86.84, failing to reach double digits in all but one of those matches.
